L-speth

I've learned a wide variety of skills in my life; the common thread running through them all is that I believe what my parents taught me, which is:  If you want something done right, do it yourself!  So I love to experiment with making or fixing things myself, from making my own jewelry to interior house painting to restoring old rattan furniture.  I hope my little essays will be informative and entertaining, and I hope that everyone will be kind in their comments while I master THIS new skill--writing for hubpages!  Your constructive criticism will be much appreciated.  Thanks!
